The Approach
Entitled and developed this 150,000 SF concrete tilt-up building within the Arcadia Logistics Center for Samuel, Son & Co., including a two-story office improvement and warehouse TI that included steel support systems for overhead cranes, and power distribution and increased slab thicknesses for heavy loads to accommodate Samuel’s manufacturing operation. The Center was LEED Silver certified, and the building was 32’ clear with 185’ concrete truck court, 3% skylights, ESFR fire sprinklers, scrim foil insulation, 2,000-amp electrical service (upgradeable to 4,000), water efficient landscaping, and retention of 100% of onsite stormwater through an infiltration basin.
